A Norfolk firm has been announced as the new sponsor of Art Fair East – the largest and liveliest contemporary art fair in the East of England.
Family-owned optician and audiologist Dipple & Conway has been rooted in Norfolk since 1916. Now the fourth-generation led firm is backing the Fair which will take place in Norwich later this year.
Matthew Conway, Director of Dipple & Conway, said: “Being part of our communities has always been at the heart of what we do, so we are delighted to sponsor this inspiring celebration of creativity that brings people together and enriches our vibrant local culture.
“Supporting the arts is a natural extension of our commitment to seeing the world more clearly, and we’re proud to stand alongside the talented artists and organisers who make this event so special.”
Dipple & Conway join long-term sponsor Chadwicks Wealth and venue sponsor The Assembly House in support of Art Fair East.
Will Teather, artist and one of the organisers of Art Fair East, said: “We are thrilled to have Dipple & Conway joining us as title sponsors this year, alongside our long-term sponsor Chadwicks Wealth. We are proud to be associated with regional businesses that are leading in their respective fields, standing for both excellence and a friendly approach, which we aspire to ourselves.”
Set up by artists Brian Korteling and Will Teather, Art Fair East annually attracts thousands of visitors from around the country to view more than 1,000 artworks. The pair are passionate about bringing contemporary art to the region, supporting artists and creating excitement around the visual arts.
Will said: “We are thrilled to be returning to the Georgian splendour of The Assembly House in Norwich this autumn. We look forward to welcoming artists and dealers from the Eastern region and beyond. We pride ourselves on being a major art fair for the East of England, which has attracted exhibitors from all over the world and brought works by famous names alongside emerging talent. One of the unique aspects of the fair is the chance to meet many artists and experts in person, which gives a real buzz to the event.”
This year’s Fair will run from 6th – 9th November at The Assembly House in Norwich.
Art Fair East is sponsored by Chadwicks Wealth alongside Dipple & Conway. Since 2024 The Assembly House has been venue sponsor.
