An award-winning local PR firm AmbitionPR is putting its best foot forward in 2024 with the opening of a spacious new office in the city centre.
The PR firm, previously based in New Costessey, works with a range of technology, professional services and publishing clients across the UK and internationally. Following a period of sustained growth and team hires, the company’s MD and founder, Jenna Owen, went in search of a more spacious property which would provide the team with ample room for growth in the coming years.
AmbitionPR’s new home at 19 Charing Cross is spread across three floors, with a large open plan office and four meeting rooms. Jenna was keen to keep the design in line with their existing office decor but also sought inspiration from Pinterest, combining ideas from both to create a modern but welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike.
Jenna ringfenced a budget of 15K for the renovations and secured some real bargains by purchasing several key items from office recycling companies, including Reyooz. “I was able to buy our large bank of desks for the main office plus a standing desk and chairs for one of our meeting rooms for under £600 in total when usually, these items would cost thousands of pounds new. They were supplied in great condition, so it’s an ideal way to upgrade your existing office without costing a fortune,” explains Jenna.
2023 marked a hugely successful year for AmbitionPR with record turnover, excellent client acquisition and retention, plus several new team hires. The 10-strong team is supported by a network of freelancers and consultants, two of which are based in France. The agency was a finalist in the EDP Business Awards for Rising Star of the Year and Jenna also reached the finalist stages of Director of the Year. The judges commented that AmbitionPR is ‘a fabulous small business, clearly grown and run with the success of the business, and its employees, at its heart.’
This year is proving no exception with several new client wins already confirmed for January. Just this week, it was announced that AmbitionPR has also received the SME500 Award for ‘Leading Public Relations & Communications Company of 2024.’
